<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically conductive composition which is excellent in thermal decomposability of organic components in baking of an electrically conductive component pattern such as an electrode pattern, therefore the organic components remain hardly on a formed electrically conductive component such as an electrode, and to provide a method for forming the electrode using the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The electrically conductive composition contains (A) an electrically conductive inorganic powder; (B) an alkali-soluble resin; (C) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of the compounds represented by formula (1) and the compounds represented by formula (2); and (D) a photopolymerization initiator.
