<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a commodity data generation device at a low cost, the device being capable of accurately finding the dimensional data of commodities. <P>SOLUTION: The commodity data generation device is provided with; a darkroom 1; a digital camera 2 which generates the image data of a commodity and a background; black lights 31-35 which radiate ultraviolet rays; and a ceiling light 4 which irradiates the commodity with visible light. In the inner surface (floor surface, wall surface or the like) of the darkroom 1, a material which fluoresces when irradiated with black light 3, is provided, and the digital camera 2 generates image data when irradiated with the black light 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
