<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distribution system monitoring and controlling system and a watt-hour meter with a system monitoring function capable of monitoring and controlling the quality of electric power of a distribution system in which scattered power supplies are used by utilizing an existing system. <P>SOLUTION: This distribution system monitoring and controlling system is provided with a distribution line, the scattered power supplies, a first system-controlling watt-hour meter that measures the quality of the electric power of the scattered power supplies; a second system-controlling watt-hour meter that measures loads of consumers that receive the supply of electric power from the scattered power supplies and the quality of the electric power of the loads of the consumers; and a network with the distribution system controlling devices on the distribution line. The first and second system-controlling watt-hour meters transmit the measured power quality data to the distribution system controlling device. If an abnormal value occurs in the power quality data, the cause of the abnormal value is specified and a warning is notified to the system-controlling watt-hour meter prepared for the scattered power supplies or the loads of the consumers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
