<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect the attitude of a rock arm for chucking a cassette, in the picker of a cassette library device. <P>SOLUTION: A rock arm 16a disposed in a rocking frame 34 enters or exits from the recess 10a of a cassette 1 to chuck or unchuck the cassette 1 when the rocking arm 34 rocks up vertically. This device is provided with rock mechanisms 47 and 48 for rocking the rocking frame 34 and the rocking arm 10a; a stepping motor 45 for driving the rocking mechanisms 47 and 48, means 51 and 52 for detecting the specific attitude of the rock arm 16a; and a means of detecting the attitude of the rocking arm 16 by counting the number of pulses supplied to the stepping motor 45, when the attitude of the rocking arm 16a is changed from a specific attitude due to driving by the stepping motor 45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
