PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera in which a release time-lag is reduced. SOLUTION: When a release button is pressed half, a photographing aperture, an electronic shutter speed and a photographing sensitivity are determined based on object luminance, and an aperture is controlled to be the photographing aperture. While the release button is pressed, the photographing aperture is fixed, the photographing aperture is applied to a aperture-preferential type second moving picture program diagram, an electronic shutter speed and a photographing sensitivity are determined, and moving picture photographing is performed using the electronic shutter speed and photographing sensitivity, and a photographing frame rate of 20 Hz for preventing flicker occurrence.
