PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter illuminating structure capable of suppressing illumination uneveness and improving the flexibility of dial design, such as in the arrangement of various types of lamps, without having to increase the number of parts. SOLUTION: The meter illumination structure has a reflecting member 12, which reflects illumination light of an LED 5 provided for the back side of a dial 10 to an inside surface of a reflecting chamber 13, arranged on the back side of the dial 10 and illuminates the dial 10 from its back side. An illumination reflecting recess-like wall surface part 15, for reflecting the illumination light of the LED 5 toward a part to which the illumination light of the LED 5, is made unlikely to directly reach due to the shape of a protrusion-like deformed part 8 protruded from the reflecting chamber 13 of the reflecting member 12 is formed in the part of an outer circumferential wall part 13d constituting the sidewall of the inside surface of the reflecting chamber 13.
