PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting apparatus mounting metal fixture and the lighting apparatus to improve demounting operability. SOLUTION: The lighting apparatus mounting metal fixture is approximately U-shaped, having a pair of side pieces 8a, 8b facing each other in a width direction of a slit 6 of an apparatus main body 5 and enabled to be inserted into and passed through the slit 6, and also having a bending part 7 to connect these side pieces on one end part. A leg part 1 moves in a direction where the pair of side pieces 8a, 8b approach and part. An inside touching part 2 has a touching piece 10 mounted on the other end part of the pair of side pieces and touching an inner side surface of the apparatus main body 5, and has a pinching piece 11. A ceiling pressing part 3 is mounted on the bending part 7 of the leg part 1. An outside engaging part 4 mounted on the leg part 1 engages an outer side surface of the apparatus main body 5. The touching piece 10 is positioned on both sides of the slit 6 on the inner side surface of the apparatus main body 5. A touching piece 10's side near the slit 6 is connected to the other end part of the side pieces 8a, 8b. The touching piece 10 inclines with its far side from the slit 6 parting more widely from the inner side surface of the apparatus main body 5 than its near side to the slit 6.
