摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a dead space required for displacing a clamper from a clamping position to a stand-by position, and also to secure clamping by small energizing force at the clamping position. SOLUTION: In the disk clamping mechanism for the disk unit, a mounting member (1) for mounting thereon a disk (D) or a cartridge (C) enclosing the disk is loaded/unloaded to/from the unit main body (8) by a driving means. The disk clamping mechanism is provided with: a disk rotating means (9) disposed on the device main body (8); a holder member (2) which is held on the device main body (8) so as to be ascendable and descendible and holds the mounting member (1) so as to be horizontally movable; a clamping member (4) held by a arm member (3) attached to the holder member (2) so as to be swingable; and a cam member (6) which is disposed on the device main body so as to be movable along the loading/unloading direction of the mounting member (1) by the driving means and engages the holder member (2) with the arm member (3) to make them operate.
