PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus controller, a microcomputer and electronic equipment capable of regulating a bus protocol of a hard module (IP) different in the bus protocol, without modifying a bus interface and mounting a bus bridge. SOLUTION: This bus controller 100 connectable to an internal bus 20 connected with the plurality of hard modules IP different in the bus protocols includes an address allocation information storage part 120 for storing address information of an allocated address space as to each of the hard modules IP and bus protocol specifying information of the hard module while correlating those each other, a bus protocol decision circuit 130 for reading out information of a protocol type to judge the bus protocol of the hard module of an access object, based on address information used in an access request from a host computer 10, and a bus protocol control circuit 180 for controlling the internal bus in response to the type of the decided protocol.
