PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer applying compressed air jet capable of minimizing the attachment of sugar to an inner wall of a drying cylinder in a case when a wet material of high moisture content including much sugar is dried. SOLUTION: In this dryer for granulating, dispersing and transferring a dried object by jetting compressed air to the dried object, a grinding means is mounted for grinding the dried object charged into the drying cylinder 6 to a specific grain size within a range of 5-15mm. The dryer comprises a charging port 14A formed inward from the inner wall of the drying cylinder 6 to charge the dried object into the drying cylinder 6, a compressed air jetting part 12 formed on a position adjacent to one side of the charging port 14A, and a hot air jetting part 13 formed on a position adjacent to the other side of the charging port 14A.
