PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature responding valve without depositing foreign matter on a valve port. SOLUTION: A main body 3 having an entry gate and an outlet is coupled with screws to form A valve casing internally having a valve chest 5 is formed by screw-connecting a lid 4 to a body 3 having an inlet 1 and an outlet 2. A valve port 8 is provided between the valve chest 5 and the outlet 2, so as to communicate the valve chest 5 with the outlet 2. Moreover, a valve stem 12 integrally formed with a valve element 13 opening and closing the valve port 8 on one end side is disclosed in the valve chest 5, and a bimetallic laminated body 16 as a temperature-sensitive member is arranged around the valve stem 12 in the valve chest 5. An operation member 17 capable of pressing the valve element 13 in the direction of the valve port 8 from the outside is provided on the opposite side to the valve port 8 of the valve element 13, thus the valve element 13 is pressed against the valve port 8 with great force by the operation member 17 and push aside foreign matter adhering to the valve port 8 with the valve element 13.
