PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric compressor to enable the improvement in mountability to a vehicle without enlarging the compressor when integrating a motor-driven circuit part to drive a motor of the electric compressor into the compressor. SOLUTION: A suction chamber 61 to lead to an inlet port 16 at a fixed end plate installed in a fixed spiral part 11 from a suction port 8 installed in a sub-casing 102, and a discharge chamber 62 to lead to a connecting passage 63 from a discharge port 31 at a fixed end cover installed the fixed spiral part 11 are axially arranged in the same plane, and a motor-driven circuit part 101 is axially arranged in the suction chamber 61 so that an IPM 105, which is a heating part of a circuit board 103, is placed in contact with so as to achieve the goal.
