PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkoxysilyl group-containing (meth)acrylate-based polymer giving curable compositions which are scarcely yellowed, do not cause a stringing phenomenon, and have good workability, to provide a curable composition using the polymer, and to provide a sealant and an adhesive each comprising the curable composition. SOLUTION: This (meth)acrylate-based polymer is characterized by adding a chain transfer agent during mixed monomer conversion of 80 to 95 %, when a monomer mixture containing at least an alkoxysilyl group-having (meth)acrylate is polymerized in the presence of a peroxide as a polymerization initiator. The curable composition containing the (meth)acrylate-based polymer as a main component. The sealant and the adhesive each comprising the curable composition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
