PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method for efficiently suppressing the quality dispersion of a printing result due to the property of paper, and to provide its device. SOLUTION: The image forming device 20 comprises a radio IC chip information reader 24 for giving reading processing to radio IC chip information. When new radio IC chip information is read, paper data based on the radio IC chip information is recorded in a paper data storage part 23. A paper profile extracted from the latest read paper data recorded in the paper data storage part 23, out of the read radio IC chip information, is used for printing processing.
