The invention relates to medical engineering, in particular to producing X-ray cassettes used for medicine and provided with intensifying X-ray screens. The inventive multipurpose medical X-ray cassette consists of a body which is made of a sheet material, comprises front and rear covers and is provided with front and rear intensifying screens arranged therein. A double-sided X-ray film is disposed between said screens. The novelty of said invention lies in that the front intensifying screen is embodied in the form of a blue-sensitive screen and the rear intensifying screen is embodied in the form of a green-sensitive screen.
