STERILIZING DEVICE FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizing device capable of wiping out bacteria existing in air supplied into a room without increasing a load to a motor of a blow fan of an air conditioning system.

SOLUTION: Titanium oxide 32 which is a photocatalytic semiconductor metal is applied on an inner wall face of a sterilizing device body 31 having the same tubular form as an air communication pipe composing a duct of the air conditioning system. The sterilizing device body 1 is arranged in a midway part of the duct. A fluorescent lamp 33 irradiating an ultraviolet ray on the inner wall face is arranged in an interior of the sterilizing device body 31. 42 is a current transformation blade, and the current transformation blade 42 disturbs a flow of air in the sterilizing device body 31 to improve sterilization efficiency.
