<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain health tea, a medicine and a health food which are excellently safe and have excellent prevention and treatment effects on infectious diseases. <P>SOLUTION: A substance containing a plant component for beverage extraction comprises root or stem of Isatis tinctoria L or its extract and root or stem of Glycyrrhiza Uralensis or its extract as active ingredients in which the contained components are extracted as a beverage.
