<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container with a discharge nozzle for discharging fluid in a string-like condition and in a flat condition using one nozzle. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of slits 14g are formed at the tip end of a discharge nozzle 14 jointly and removably connected to the top end of a container main body 12. Each slit 14g forms a plurality of elastically deformable elements 14h. When the tip end of the nozzle 14 is separated from an item to which an adhesive agent is to be applied, the agent is discharged to a narrow adhesive agent applying spot in a string-like condition from the tip end opening of the nozzle 14. To the contrary, when the tip end of the nozzle 14 is pressed against a part where the agent is to be applied, the elements 14h are elastically deformed and are separated from each other because of the work of the slits 14g.
