<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power supply controller in which the frequency of a predetermined processing being performed upon turn on power can be set at a low level by supervising the operational state of a power switch, and the state of the power switch 49 can be made to coincide with the operational conditions of a system. <P>SOLUTION: Upon detecting operation of turn-off power of a multifunction processor 1, the power supply controller 50 sustains power supply required only for processing at the time of turn off power. Upon detecting operation of turn-on power during an interval after power interruption before a moment in time when the multifunction processor 1 reaches a reset voltage for disabling operation, control section 47 of the multifunction processor 1 is provided with an indication for resetting/restarting the processor. Upon detecting operation of turn-on power again during an interval after a moment in time when operation of turn-off power is detected before a time interval for sustaining power supply required only for processing at the time of turn off power elapses, the control section 47 of the multifunction processor 1 is provided with an indication for restarting the processor while omitting cleaning processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
