SCROLL KEY EQUIPPED WITH FUNCTION SELECTION SWITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll key equipped with a function selection switch, miniaturized in size and allowing space to be efficiently arranged in designing a portable electronic apparatus.

SOLUTION: This scroll key equipped with a function selection switch comprises: a circuit board with a circuit for a predetermined function formed; a vertical rotation switch mounted on the circuit board with a rotation center axis thereof being substantially parallel with the circuit board; first and second tact switches mounted on the circuit board in alignment with the rotation center axis of the vertical rotation switch; a rotation knob mounted between the rotation switch and the first tact switch so as to rotate in a direction perpendicular to the circuit board for rotating the rotation switch to press the first tact switch; and a button mounted on the circuit board to press the second tact switch.
