SMELTING FURNACE, AND RECOVERY METHOD FOR PLATINUM GROUP ELEMENT USING THE SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid damage of an inner wall including a portion at a height of a molten slag level in a smelting furnace providing molten metal by deoxidizing oxide raw materials charged in the furnace by a carbonaceous reducing agent.

SOLUTION: In the smelting furnace providing molten metal by deoxidizing oxide raw materials charged in the furnace by the carbonaceous reducing agent, a furnace wall including the height level of a molten slag layer formed in the furnace is composed of a shell, a water film flow contacting an outer side surface and flowing down is formed on an outer side of the shell, and a self-coating layer comprising a solidified layer of in-furnace molten matter is formed on a furnace inner side surface of the shell by a cooling effect by the water film layer.
