AIR CONDITIONER AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of an air conditioner capable of satisfying both energy saving and improvement in comfort. SOLUTION: This control method of the air conditioner comprises periodical stop of the cooling operation of the air conditioner which performs the cooling operation so as to keep room temperature at 26°C from time t=-30 min to t=0 min only for 15 min from the time t=0 min as shown in Fig. (B) to intermittently operate the air conditioner. The period of the stoppage is 45 min as shown in Fig. (B). According to this control method, the 15-min stoppage of cooling operation and the 30-min operation of cooling operation successive to the stopping constitutes one intermittent cycle. Compared with a continuous cooling operation, the energy consumption can be surely reduced without deteriorating the comfort. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
