PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device for a vehicle capable of minimizing a wiring space for a harness of a resolver, capable of flexibly coping with expansion of the harness caused by heat, capable of preventing damage of the harness, and capable of reducing an axial length of the drive device. SOLUTION: In the drive device for the vehicle equipped with at least a motor M as a traveling drive source and having a transmission T interlocked to the motor M, the resolver R for detecting a position of a rotor 2 of the motor M is provided, a harness protector 24 for fixing the harness of the resolver R is provided, and the harness protector 24 is equipped with a protrusion for restraining movement of the harness.
