PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical dimmer element which is advantageous in its downsizing and in simplifying its assembly, and to provide a lens barrel and an imaging device. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal dimmer element 16 has a protruding part 1604A mounted on the second transparent substrate 1604, which protrudes along the surface direction of the second transparent substrate 1604 more than the other first and third transparent substrates 1602, 1606, in a state in which the first, second and third transparent substrates 1602, 1604, 1606 are superposed on each another. The protruding part 1604A has a first face 1620 facing the first transparent electrode 1608 and a second face 1622 facing the fourth transparent electrode 1614. The first to fourth terminal parts 1624, 1626, 1628, 1630, respectively conductively connected to the first to fourth transparent electrodes 1608, 1610, 1612, 1614 are mounted on the first face 1620.
