PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with a good appearance, to which a radio communication function can be added later, upon a user's request. SOLUTION: A housing part 54 is provided in the lower part of a door 24, which opens and shuts on hinges, of a cold storage room 14 of a refrigerator 10. When a card-type radio communication adaptor 52 is housed in the housing part 54, the refrigerator 10 is remotely controlled.
