PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule discharging device which surely detects capsules, even if they are small in diameter, with a discharge detection sensor by fixing a dropping position, in a dropping passage. SOLUTION: The capsule discharging device 30 is provided with; an accommodation part 32 which accommodates capsules; a disk 34 which rotates in the accommodation part 32; a motor 38 which rotates the disk 34; a capsule holding part 40 which is provided below the disk 34; a dropping hole 50 through which the capsules 11 held at the capsule holding part 40 drop outside the accommodation part 32; and a discharge detection means 54 which contacts the capsules 11 dropping from the dropping hole 50 and detects the discharge of the capsules 11. In this case, a guide groove 56, which guides the capsules 11 held in the capsule holding part 40 to the dropping hole 50 with the rotation of the disk 34, is provided at a bottom surface part 35, in which the dropping hole 50 is formed, with its connection with the end edge of the dropping hole 50, while the lower parts of said capsules 11 being fit to the guide groove.
