PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a siphon starter which generates full current flow of rainwater in a rainwater draining riser even for a small amount of rain, by solving a problem that rainwater flows, with a conventional rainwater draining system, only to the extent of travelling along the riser inner wall, hardly running in the rainwater draining riser in full current. SOLUTION: The siphon starter for rainwater draining riser comprises a reservoir 3 for rain water, and a pipe 4 one tip end of which is arranged near the bottom 3a of the reservoir and is bent near the top of the container, the other end of the pipe being connected to the rainwater draining riser 2.
