PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool for wearing a sock solving such problems that a person who has inconvenience in action of her (his) waist does not easily put the sock on, with a conventional auxiliary tool for wearing a sock, because the position of the tool is hard to identify the location of the tool for wearing a sock, hard to put the leg in the sock, and hard to regulate fixing power between the tool and the sock. SOLUTION: The auxiliary tool for wearing a sock is used as follows: temporarily fixing the part of the sock while the opening of the sock is widened via a ring with a handle and a Hook-and-Loop tape (a Hook face); putting the foot in through the opening; holding the handle to control the tool and pulling up the sock together with the ring; or pushing the foot into the sock to cover the foot so as to put on the sock.
