PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment device in which respective treatment tanks can be used alternately in accordance with the change in kinds of treatment and the variation of production, and which is adaptable to future new surface treatment immediately. SOLUTION: In the surface treatment device, the surface of a work 100 continuously carried by a carrying apparatus is subjected to a plurality of surface treatment stages including objective surface treatment and surface treatment accompanying the same. The surface treatment device comprises a plurality of surface treatment tanks for performing surface treatment with surface treatment liquids and a plurality of storage tanks for separately storing the two or more kinds of surface treatment liquids, respectively, and at least the plurality of respective storage tanks 12, 13, 14 for surface treatment liquids for objective surface treatment are connected to at least the surface treatment tanks 4, 5, 6 for objective surface treatment with liquid feed lines 31-1, 31-2, 31-3, respectively. Suitably, each surface treatment tank is composed of an inner tank 21 and an outer tank 23, and each storage tank is connected to each outer tank in the plurality of surface treatment tanks with a liquid circulation line, respectively.
