<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce running cost concerning freeze preventing operation, and to uniformly increase the temperature inside the body of a fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises a fuel cell 4, a freeze preventing heater 25 which is installed over a lowest surface inside the body of the fuel cell system, a temperature detecting means 23, a fan 26 for ventilation inside the body of the fuel cell system at the upper portion of the fuel cell 4, and a driving switch 27. In a standby mode or in a state, the driving switch 27 is OFF and the operation is stopped, when the temperature detecting means 23 detects the temperature of a threshold value or less, the freeze preventing heater 25 and the ventilation fan 26 are operated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
