<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner supply device in which an amount of toner supplied to a developing unit during one rotation can be stabilized and toner can steadily be supplied to the developing unit even with a toner container that is half used. <P>SOLUTION: A DC motor which rotates a toner container is driven according to a pulse width modulation signal. The rotating speed of the toner container is detected during the first rotation of the toner container. When the toner container makes the second rotation and later, the DC motor is driven according to the pulse width modulation signal in which a pulse width and a duty ratio are controlled on the basis of the rotating speed detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
