<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio receiving device capable of conducting A/D conversion for a multiplex carrier signal with one A/D conversion means, and dynamically assigning an optimal A/D conversion dynamic range according to each quality of the signal to be multiplexed. <P>SOLUTION: Quality measuring means 8a and 8b conduct quality measurement for a quantized signal. A gain setting means 9 computes a gain for dynamically assigning an A/D conversion dynamic range, based on the result of the quality measurement. Analog processing means 3a and 3b conduct power level control using the gain. Thereby, a quantizing bit number by an A/D conversion means 5 can be utilized effectively. In addition, the A/D conversion dynamic range can be assigned dynamically, according to the significance of radio signals established beforehand. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
