<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and reliably detect an abnormality of a fan motor or its control circuit even if the fan motor does not operate. <P>SOLUTION: An operation of the fan motor 13 is confirmed when it does not operate. When a test voltage below a lower limit Vmin of a drive voltage range applied to the fan motor during normal operation and within a torque non-generation voltage range Ro for generating no torque in the fan motor 13 is applied to the fan motor 13, an abnormal signal is outputted if a rotation of the fan motor 13 is recognized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
