<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booster which can surely judge the weld of a power relay at low a cost, and besides is little of loss currents. <P>SOLUTION: This booster has a relay circuit which is connected to a power source so as to supply and break voltage, a relay weld judging means which includes a capacitor being provided between a power source and a ground so as to judge the weld of the relay circuit, and a boosting means which includes a switching element being provided between the power source and the ground so as to boost the voltage of the power source to specified voltage prior to output.
