<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window opening/closing apparatus in which a manually opening/closing window and a window frame can be used in common, electrical work is facilitated, which can be adapted for various windows to enhance versatility, and in which a manually opening/closing window can be easily changed into an electric type. <P>SOLUTION: The window opening/closing apparatus 5 comprises a main body part 30 equipped with a rotary transmitting shaft 32 having a detachable part capable of fitting a manual handle 35, and with a connection arm 33 connected to the opening/closing mechanism for opening/closing a sash by the rotation of the rotary transmitting shaft, a power motor 43 connected to the rotary transmitting shaft 32, and a control unit for controlling the drive of the power motor 43. The power motor 43 is installed instead of the manual handle 35, allowing a window frame, a sash, an opening/closing mechanism to be used in common with manually operating windows. Wiring is not required in the window frame, facilitating carrying out electrical work. Various types of windows can use the power motor 43 or the like in common, if a bracket 41 is changed, enhancing the versatility.
