<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain satisfactory operability in restricted conditions while contributing to miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: If a terminal is folded with a main display unit 7 facing the outside and is in a state that the operating surface of a main operation unit is closed with an top case 6, a control unit recognizes mutual position relation between a top unit 2 and a bottom unit on the basis of a opening/closing detection signal and a rotation angle detection signal received from a position detecting unit, and causes the unit 7 to display an auxiliary operation menu screen on which operation items selected by a user is one-dimensionally disposed in an order selected by the user. If a cursor is put on a desired operation item by operations of a side upper operation key 21a and a side lower operation key 21b and a side deciding key 21c is further depressed, the control unit causes the unit 7 to display a corresponding menu screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
