<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer handle device for a vehicular door, which is formed of a handle main body and a cover covering the outside of the handle main body, and has an operating handle arranged outside the vehicular door, the operating handle housing therein a pair of electrodes and a circuit board on which a detecting circuit for detecting change in a capacitance between the electrodes is arranged, wherein the operating handle is made thinner and the outer handle device is improved in noise immunity. <P>SOLUTION: In the outer handle device, both the electrodes 43 are patterned on the circuit board 44, and a ground pattern 77 connected to the detecting circuit is arranged at a location offset from both the electrodes 43 when the circuit board 44 is transparently viewed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
