PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communicative match type virtual reality tennis game system which can ensure reality even by a small communication volume. SOLUTION: A VR tennis game system (100) connects VR tennis game devices (10) which are respectively set at two sites by the internet (54). A computer (42 in Fig.3, not shown) of each VR tennis game device displays a game picture including a ball shape (40 in Fig.2, not shown) on a screen (12) by a projector (14). A player (16) swings a racket (18) in an actual space in front of the screen. The computer prepares ball returning data in response to the swing (ball-returning motion) of the player. The ball returning data includes a ball shape position and a ball velocity at that time. Therefore, each computer calculates the track of the ball shape based on the ball returning data, and displays the flying ball shape on the screen conforming to the track. In this case, a motion image of the swing motion of a partner which has been stored in the memory (48 or 52) of the computer (42) in advance is displayed together on the game picture as well.
