<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable whether or not an isochronous channel is established to be determined only by a transmission/reception end of real-time data without a management body, when a monitoring system is configured by connecting a camera and an image output device and a print system outputting a print of image data continuously transmitted is configured by using a best effort type network technology. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission side terminal establishing an isochronous channel is provided with a means for confirming a stream path of the isochronous channel at a reception side terminal of the isochronous channel, a means for determining whether or not a channel establishment is enabled based on a comparison between an obtained path and a existing isochronous channel path, a means for informing the reception terminal of the determination result concerning the determined channel establishment enable/disable, and a means for an isochronous channel release the reception terminal of informing when an isochronous real-time stream transmission is ended. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
