PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of enhancing feeling when an occupant puts the arm on an upper surface part of an arm rest. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner for the vehicle, a blow out port 10 for blowing out air-conditioned air from an air-conditioning unit 1 is formed on an upper surface part 4a of the hollow arm rest 4 for putting the occupant's arm. Thereby, the air-conditioned air (cool air, warm air or the like) can be fed toward the occupant's arm put on the upper surface part 4a of the arm rest 4.
