PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of an electric motor by reducing eddy current loss. SOLUTION: A stator core assembly to be used for an electrical appliance is provided. The stator core assembly includes a plurality of core members. Each core member forms the circular arc part of the stator core assembly. Each core member includes at least two core blocks, with each core block being adjacent to each other. Each core block is formed of ferrous magnetic metallic granular body and powdery material which is mutually insulated overall.
