PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system, a method, and a program for previously announcing departure times of trains etc. which the user is likely to make on time at a destination station. SOLUTION: In the case that the user specifies a station as a destination, a part for receiving selection etc. displays a selection menu of lines and directions on a screen, receives selection, and computes estimated arrival time, on the basis of a present time, road map data, and a route read from a time-detecting means by a time-computing part. An extracting part extracts one or two departure times for trains etc. which the user can make on time; in other words, can board according to the computed estimated arrival time from time table data.
