PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink tube holding mechanism capable of securing the smooth movement of an inkjet head in an off-carriage type inkjet printer. SOLUTION: The ink tube holding mechanism is equipped with a tube holding tool 52 holding ink tubes 41 to 44 in a vertically aligned condition, and a flexible seat 51 to which the tube holding tool 52 is attached slidably in the length direction and which protects the ink tubes 41 to 44. Since the ink tubes 41 to 44 and the flexible seat 51 are bent in U-shape with different curvatures, they move relatively in the length direction depending on the movement of the inkjet head 15. Such relative movement is not restrained. Consequently the smooth movement of the inkjet head 15 is secured and the aligned condition of the ink tubes 41 to 44 can be retained.
