PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer, a printing method and a printing system, which can enhance the quality of a printed image by suppressing printing unevenness of the printed image. SOLUTION: In this printing method, ink is ejected from a plurality of nozzles moving in a moving direction, so that a dot array along the moving direction can be formed on a medium; the medium is carried in a carrying direction; and the formation of the dot array and the carrying of the medium are repeated, so that the image can be constituted on the medium by using a plurality of dot arrays which are continuously arranged at predetermined intervals in the carrying direction. In terms of each dot array, when an interval between the dot array and either of two dot arrays sandwiching the dot array in between is longer than the predetermined interval and an interval between the dot array and the other dot array is shorter than the predetermined interval, compensation for increasing the density of one dot array is performed, and compensation for decreasing the density of the other dot array is performed.
