PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a necessary and suitable amount of energy to an ignition coil. SOLUTION: An engine ECU executes a program comprising: a step S100 outputting a current passing command to an igniter; a step S120 detecting battery voltage VB when a predetermined time has passed after output of energization command (YES in S110); a step S130 detecting engine speed NE; a step S140 calculating an energization time based on a map in view of a battery voltage dropΔVB; and a step S150 storing the calculated current passing time calculated in view of the battery voltage dropΔVB as the next energization time into a memory.
