PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine for surely reducing various noise generated in multiple cylinders. SOLUTION: Since time difference among sylinders in generation of impulse forces more than once in a cycle in a cylinder along with fuel injection is independently controlled, a peak value of sound pressure noise is reduced for each cylinder and variation in noise between the cylinders caused by difference in sound pressure at the same frequency, so that the quality of engine sound quality is enhanced to reduce objectionable noise.
