PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation equipment for a group V metallocene polymerizing catalyst that can polymerize high active butadiene. SOLUTION: The evaluation equipment for a butadiene polymerizing catalyst calculates the best stable structure of the butadiene polymerizing catalyst which comprises (A) a metallocene complex that is a group V transition metal compound represented by a general formula: Rn M(O)m Xp, and (B) an ionic compound of non-coordinating borate anions and cations, and evaluates a relationship of the following formulas (1) and (2). The formula (1) is S≥1.5 and the formula (2) is r≤10. In the formulas, S(Å<SP>2</SP>) represents a void area at the position of 3Åfrom a central transition metal element in the best stable structure of the catalyst, and r(Å) represents the distance between the central transition metal element and a boron element in the best stable structure of the catalyst.
