PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EPDM composition which comprises an EPDM polymer, does not contain a plasticizer such as a process oil and is suitably employable as a molding material of a gasket for hard disc drives, or the like. SOLUTION: The EPDM polymer comprises 100 pts.wt. of the EPDM polymer, 1-8 pts.wt. of a liquid rubber and 5-40 pts.wt. of a flat filler. The gasket obtained from the EPDM composition is excellent in properties such as rubber elasticity (permanent compression set property), a low hardness, sealing property, low outgas property and the like, and moreover excellent in processability, and is therefore suitable for dust prevention for hard disc drives or the like. The gasket can prevent moisture/silicon gas from infiltrating into the inside of the hard disc drive thereby to enhance performances/qualities of the gasket. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
