PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasoline composition having the function of reducing the environmental pollution, especially reducing discharge of harmful ingredients by an exhaust gas and capable of more improving the drive performances of cars such as acceleration property. SOLUTION: The gasoline composition has a research octane number of≥96, a sulfur content of≤10 mass ppm, an aromatics content of≤45 vol%, an olefins content of 10-35 vol%, a≥8C olefins content of 1.5-30 vol%, a benzene content of≤1 vol%, a 70% distillate temperature of≤135°C, and a 90% distillate temperature of≤175°C.
