PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knee protecting device for an occupant in an automobile, achieving a good function and an inexpensive and superior form in simple construction by improving such a form that a knee collision wall is mounted on a dashboard. SOLUTION: The knee collision wall 4 has an inside shell 13 and an outside shell 14. The inside shell 13 and the outside shell 14 define a hollow chamber 15 storing a foamed cushion 16.
